You give everyone else your time.

Every day you say, "I'll do it when I have time." But you never "have time" because you keep giving it away.

This isn't about balance. This is about proving to yourself that you're worth an hour of your own day.

The Challenge

Spend 1 hour every day, for 30 days, solely on yourself.

Not scrolling. Not "relaxing" in front of Netflix. Actually doing something FOR yourself.

Do the thing you've been saying you'll do "when you have time." Learn that skill. Build that project. Move your body. Create that thing.

Whatever it is – just fucking do it.

The Rules

1 Hour Minimum

Every single day. Non-negotiable. No excuses.

Phone Down

No distractions. No scrolling. Full focus on your task.

FOR You, Not ABOUT You

Actually doing something, not consuming content about doing things.

No Guilt

No apologies for prioritising yourself. You're allowed to matter.

Track It

Daily check-ins required. Evidence over excuses.

What Counts?

Be clear on what actually moves you forward versus what just feels productive.

  • Learning a new skill (coding, language, instrument)
  • Creating something (writing, art, building)
  • Working on your side project
  • Exercising or training
  • Deep reading (books, not articles)
  • Practicing a craft
  • Planning your future
  • Meditation or reflection

✗ This Doesn't

  • Scrolling social media
  • Watching Netflix or YouTube
  • Reading about productivity without doing
  • "Research" that never becomes action
  • Shopping (unless it's for your project)
  • Texting or messaging
  • Passive entertainment
  • Procrastinating with "self-care"

If it feels too comfortable, it probably doesn't count.
