The story

Building this in public, one uncomfortable truth at a time.

hanker.life exists because I needed it first. Now I'm building it for everyone else who's tired of waiting.

The beginning

Why I started this

For years, I lived on autopilot. Going through the motions. Waiting for the "right moment" to chase what I actually wanted. Telling myself I'd start living — really living — when the conditions were perfect.

They never were.

In June 2025, I made a decision: stop waiting. Start building. Document everything. No hiding behind a polished brand. No pretending I had it all figured out.

hanker.life is the result.

"The permission you're waiting for? You already have it. You've always had it."

The name

Why hanker.life

hanker (verb): to feel a strong desire for or to do something.

It's that pull. That ache. That restless feeling that there's more to life than what you're currently living.

hanker.life is about channelling that desire—not suppressing it, not optimising it away, but letting it wake you up. It's the strong desire for life itself. To live fully. To feel deeply. To experience every moment, not just the highlight reel.

The good and the bad. The joy and the struggle. The breakthroughs and the setbacks. Because without one, the other loses meaning. You can't appreciate the sun without the rain. You can't know ease without difficulty. You can't understand liberation without first feeling stuck.

Life isn't about curating the perfect Instagram existence. It's about showing up for all of it—the messy, uncomfortable, beautiful, painful, exhilarating reality of being human.

That's the hanker. The desire to stop waiting and start living. Fully. Honestly. Now.

"It's the rainy days that reminds us of the love for the sun."

What I believe

The principles behind everything here

Uncomfortable honesty

The questions that matter most are usually the ones we avoid. Growth happens in the discomfort, not around it.

Action over theory

Reading about change isn't change. Frameworks only work when you use them. This is about doing, not just knowing.

Building in public

No fake success stories. No inflated numbers. Real progress documented in real time, including the setbacks.

Sustainable transformation

Quick fixes don't last. Real change takes time, consistency, and the courage to keep showing up.
